Starting out in EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team comes with one important limitation: the Transfer Market is locked for new players. This means you can’t buy players or search for items, though selling is allowed after completing objectives.

Foundations Objectives
To unlock the Transfer Market, new players must complete the Foundations objectives, divided into four stages:

New Beginnings – Play Squad Battles, score goals, complete Passes and Shots Moments, and finish Football 101.

Venturing Out – Play Rush matches, complete Rewards EVO, score more goals, and play five matches.

Diving In – Play Rush, Squad Battles (Semi-Pro), Rivals matches, and 15 matches in total.

On Your Way – Play 10 matches, complete Rush bonuses, assist 25 times, and complete two SBC groups.

Completing each stage provides rewards and items to help build your squad.

Full Access Timing
Once all objectives are finished, full market access is delayed:

48 hours for PC players

24 hours for console players

During this waiting period, you can sell items but cannot purchase players.
